A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ARTIST...I am a self-taught artist and a native of Washington State. For the past 35 years, I lived and worked as a studio jewelry artist in the Methow Valley at the eastern base of the Cascade Mountains. The valley is a beautiful, vibrant community of artists working in various media who sell locally, on-line and in the greater Seattle-Puget Sound area. Recently, I moved my studio to the Seattle area to be closer to the craft movement in Puget Sound.
My work focuses on the art of glass crafting, wire working, the forging of metal and enameling. These processes enable me to produce works which are inspired by my surroundings and the natural beauty and energy of the Pacific Northwest. As time has passed, I have continued to explore new ways to incorporate metals, colors, textures and even reclaimed or re-purposed objects into my designs.
